Colors and fonts

Create a visual palette unique to your site by changing the accent color that is used on a number of common elements, the fonts used throughout the site, the graphics, and images. To do so, a working knowledge of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) will be invaluable and in some cases, if you are creating more complex styles, required.

For more information on CSS style syntax and convention, search online for "CSS basics" where a large range of sites and resources can be found (such as http://www.cssbasics.com/).

Some basic elements in this section include how to:

  • create and edit CSS style sheets using Drupal’s CSS Injector module;
  • change the site-wide accent color;
  • change the font site-wide or on individual elements.
